Preparation

Gather nodes, server, and client information. Having a master list will help manage things like export rules.

  • Hammerspace 5.1 or later

  • Administrative (root or equivalent) credentials

  • Hostname, IP address(es), network connectivity

  • Roles: Client only, Server only (LSS), Client and server (GPU / Tier 0 nodes), Mover

  • Cluster membership

  • Availability zone

  • Unusual configuration, drivers, etc. that need to be set or installed
