Client Data-Access Management

Hammerspace presents the same data to clients over multiple access protocols, including NFS, SMB, and S3, with every DSX node in the cluster exporting all shares. This section describes how clients connect to and access data, the protocols Hammerspace supports, and the security and identity-mapping features that protect that access — including Kerberos for NFS, multi-protocol access to the same data, and auditing of file-access events to an external syslog server.
