Navigating the Management GUI

The Management Graphical Interface (GUI) is accessible by entering the management cluster IP address or DNS name into a supported web browser.

Hammerspace includes the following management categories and pages. You can access each of these pages by clicking the icon on the left navigation bar.

Table 1. Navigation Pages
Navigation Menu	Description
Dashboard	Summarized information about data or infrastructure, as well as Quick Links to areas of interest.
Mobility	Data mobility visualization
Data	View and create shares, add storage systems, volumes, S3 servers and buckets.
Objectives	View and create objectives that define how data is placed and moved. Profile the cost of data placement by age.
Infrastructure	View detailed performance and alignment data for storage volumes, volume groups, and storage systems.
Administration	View clusters and nodes, S3 servers, licensing, SNMP configuration, Active Directory integration; manage users, download support logs, and update software.

The following general administrative areas are accessible from the status bar at the top of each page:

Task	Description
Getting Started	Common tasks for configuring the product.
Events	View events.
Tasks	View the status and progress of tasks.
Users	Logout; view user details; change the user password; API documentation, view information about Hammerspace version.
Errors	The triple-bar icon at the top right of the page displays a list of recent errors from UI components.
Expand menu	The triple bar icon at the top left of the page expands the left side panel.
