Removing a Name Service
When you remove an LDAP name service, users in its domain can no longer be mapped to their UIDs and GIDs, so they lose access to shares that depend on that mapping. Hammerspace regenerates the SSSD configuration without the domain.
If you remove the last LDAP name service, Hammerspace also removes the SSSD configuration and stops SSSD. See How Hammerspace Manages SSSD on the Anvils.
Using the GUI

In the Actions column of the LDAP name service, click the Delete icon (the third icon).

In the Delete Directory Service dialog, confirm that you want to remove the name service for the domain shown.
Using the Admin CLI
Identify the name service with --name, --id, or --internal-id:
